Assignment Two :)

This unusual staircase, La Maison Unique is designed by Heatherwick studio and is found in New York, USA. I believe this is an excellent example of the continuing curve found in our world today with sensuous impulse playing a vital role. The technique the designer created here gives the appearance that the stair case has been lifted out of the ground. The fluidity that has been created utilizing the wood, captures your attention, and then draws you along the structure.  The designers have created a visual spectacle of motion. The stairs appear as though they have the fluid and motion of a waterfall. This functional sculpture is more than just a functional structure, it’s an item of beauty in its own right.
